Bolt-on upgraded turbocharger for BMW models with the N55 engine. Supplied in two versions — Stage 1 and Stage 2. Before ordering, please confirm which version you need — vacuum-controlled or electronic.
When ordering this turbocharger, please include your vehicle’s VIN number in the order comments so we can select the correct actuator bracket for you.
Stage 1 features:
- upgraded bearing system helps hold higher loads where standard bearings would fail;
- new billet compressor wheel. This larger impeller with improved design helps reach the target boost more easily. Thanks to better material and special manufacturing processes, it is more reliable under high-pressure operation;
- upgraded turbine wheel with a stronger-material shaft and improved design. The enlarged base provides better flow;
- machined and fully refurbished housings;
- every rotating part of the turbocharger is balanced; after full assembly the turbocharger is balanced on VSR;
Power range: 550 HP
Stage 2 features:
- standard bearings replaced with dual ceramic ball bearing systems. This helps the turbocharger spin better and reach results faster.
- new billet compressor wheel. This larger impeller with improved design helps reach the target boost more easily. Thanks to better material and special manufacturing processes, it is more reliable under high-pressure operation;
- upgraded turbine wheel with a stronger-material shaft and improved design. The enlarged base provides better flow;
- machined and fully refurbished housings;
- every rotating part of the turbocharger is balanced; after full assembly the turbocharger is balanced on VSR;
Stage 2 power range: 600+ HP
